Understanding the types of custom fields helps structure pipelines better and organize data more efficiently. See below how to access and identify each available type.
1st Step: Accessing the Pipelines Module
In the upper left side menu, click “Pipelines”.

2nd Step: Accessing Custom Fields
Open “Module Settings” represented by the “(...)” icon in the upper right corner of the Pipelines screen.
Select the “Fields” tab.
Choose one of the following options:
- To create: click “Add Custom Field”.
- To edit: access “Edit Custom Field” by clicking the field.

3rd Step: Types of Custom Fields
In the “Create/Edit Custom Field” modal, open the “Type” dropdown to view the available options:
- Text: simple text field for short information (e.g., name, title).
- Number: accepts only numeric values, ideal for quantities or metrics.
- Email: validated format for email addresses.
- Text Area: larger space for descriptions or long notes.
- Select: dropdown menu for a single choice among predefined options.
- Multi Select: allows selecting more than one option from a list.
- Checkbox: binary selection (yes/no).
- Date: selector for day, month, and year.
- Time: selector for hours and minutes.
- Money: field formatted for monetary values, including currency symbol.
- Link: field to insert URLs with format validation.
- Divider: line used to visually separate sections of the form.
Best Practices:
- Choose the appropriate field type to ensure data is recorded correctly.
- Avoid using Multi Select when only one choice is required.
- Use Select for predefined options to guide users.
- Use Divider in long forms to organize sections.
- Standardize field types across similar pipelines to maintain consistency.
