How to Import Tasks via CSV

Importing tasks via CSV allows you to add multiple entries quickly and in a standardized way, ensuring that all required fields are correctly filled.

1st Step: Accessing the Tasks Module

  1. In the upper left side menu, click “Tasks” to open the tasks area.
  2. At the top of the list, click the “Import to CSV” button represented by the upload icon to open the import window.

2nd Step: Downloading the Import Template

  1. In the import window, click “Download Template” to download the CSV model. This template contains required columns such as:
  • title (Task title)
  • description (Task description)
  • status (Task status)
  • priority (Task priority)
  • start_date (Task start date)
  • end_date (Task end date)
  • start_time (Task start time)
  • end_time (Task end time)
  • owner_user (Task owner)
  • creator_user (User who created the task)
  • pipeline_card_uuid (Universal unique identifier of the pipeline card to which the task belongs)
  • creator_user_uuid (Universal unique identifier of the user who created the task)
  • owner_user_uuid (Universal unique identifier of the task owner)
  • created_at (Task creation date and time)
  • updated_at (Last task update date and time)

    1. Open the CSV model file in a spreadsheet editor and fill in                          each row with the task data, respecting the column order                            and headers.

    1. Save the completed CSV, ensuring there are no missing                            columns or misaligned values.

3rd Step: Importing the Tasks CSV File

  1. Back in the import window, click “Drag a file or click to select” and navigate to the completed CSV. Select it and click “Open”.
  2. Click “Import Data” to start the bulk import process.

4th Step: Completing the Import

  1. The system will process the CSV. If everything is correct, a notification will be displayed in the lower left corner.
  2. The task list will be automatically updated, displaying all newly imported tasks.

Best Practices:

  • Always use the official template to avoid formatting errors or missing columns.
  • Verify column names and exact order before filling the file.
  • Test the import with a small number of tasks before uploading a large CSV.
  • Keep a backup of the original CSV for future reimports or corrections.
