Exporting records from Databases to CSV allows you to analyze data externally and generate custom reports more easily. **1st Step: Accessing the Databases Module** In the upper left side menu, click **“Databases”** to open the list of databases. Select the desired database to view its records. **2nd Step: Applying Filters (Optional)** If you want to export only a subset of records, click the **“Filter”** button represented by the funnel icon in the upper right corner. Configure **Field**, **Operator**, and **Value** to refine the records list. **3rd Step: Exporting Records to CSV** 2. At the top of the records list, click the **“Export to CSV”** button represented by the download icon. 3. A dialog window will be displayed requesting export confirmation. 4. Click **“Confirm”** to generate the CSV file. **4th Step: Downloading and Verifying the CSV File** 2. The download will start automatically, and the file will be saved in the downloads folder (e.g., **octapipe-database-records-20250616.csv**). 3. Open the CSV in a spreadsheet editor to validate the content. It will contain columns such as: - **uuid** (record universal unique identifier) - **name** (record name) - **base\_de\_dados\_name** (database name) - **owner\_user** (record owner) - **creator\_user** (user who created the record) - **cf\_** (database custom field) - **base\_de\_dados\_uuid** (database universal unique identifier) - **owner\_user\_uuid** (owner user universal unique identifier) - **creator\_user\_uuid** (creator user universal unique identifier) - **created\_at** (creation date and time) - **updated\_at** (last update date and time) **Best Practices:** - Filter before exporting to retrieve only the desired records. - Check **“created\_at”** and **“updated\_at”** dates for time-based reports. - Protect the CSV if it contains sensitive data. - Update exports regularly to keep external reports synchronized. **Conclusion:** You have learned how to export records from a database to CSV, from selection to validating the generated file.
